Prof. Yuanyuan ZHOU will be promoted from Associate Professor to Professor effective from July 1, 2026

Prof. Yuanyuan ZHOU will be promoted from Associate Professor to Professor in our department, effective July 1, 2026.

This promotion is a testament to Prof. Zhou's outstanding contributions to our department and to HKUST. Over the years, he has demonstrated exceptional dedication and excellence in research and service, significantly advancing our academic mission. Prof. Zhou's recent work on perovskite materials and solar cells has been highly recognized. We are especially grateful for his leadership in establishing the new MSc program and the Materials Engineering department.
