Prof. Yiwen WANG Delivered Keynote Speech at IEEE EMBC 2024

Associate Professor Yiwen WANG in the Departments of Electronic & Computer Engineering and Chemical & Biological Engineering, was invited to be the keynote speaker for the neural and rehabilitation engineering theme at the 46th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (IEEE EMBC 2024).

As the world’s largest international biomedical engineering conference, IEEE EMBC 2024 covered a wide scope of 12 keynote themes. Only one keynote speaker was invited for each theme and the invitation was considered a great honor. The title of Prof. Wang’s keynote speech was “Behaviorally Reinforced Generative Spike Prediction Model: Towards the Rewiring of Disconnected Brain Areas”.

The conference was held in Orlando, Florida, US on July 15-19, 2024, with over 2,500 participants from more than 50 countries.
