Prof. Hnin Yin Yin NYEIN Receives the Micromachines Young Investigator Award

The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) at HKUST is proud to announce that Prof. Hnin Yin Yin NYEIN has been awarded the Micromachines Young Investigator Award. This prestigious honor is presented annually to only one early-stage researcher worldwide, recognizing outstanding contributions to fundamental and translational research in micro/nano-scaled structures, materials, devices, and systems, as well as related micro- and nanotechnology.

The award, presented by the MDPI journal Micromachines, honors researchers who have demonstrated creativity, independence, and significant impact in advancing micro and nanotechnology research. Prof. Nyein’s pioneering work exemplifies excellence in both innovative research and real world biomedical applications, advancing scientific understanding while inspiring future innovation.
