Outstanding Young Scientist Recognized: Prof. Jiguang WANG Elected to Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences
Prof. Jiguang WANG, Padma Harilela Associate Professor of Life Science in the Division of Life Science (LIFS) and Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE), has been elected as a member of the Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences (YASHK). His membership will take effect on January 1, 2026.
The election of new YASHK members is highly competitive. This year, 12 scholars from five universities were elected, including three from HKUST.
Established in 2018 as a chapter of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences (ASHK), YASHK aims to gather young scientists to jointly promote the development of science and technology with ASHK.
