Recognition for Electrocatalytic Conversion of Carbon-based Small Molecules: Prof. Minhua SHAO Honored with Shanghai Natural Science Award (Second Class)

Prof. Minhua SHAO, the Head and Chair Professor of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and Director of the Energy Institute, Cheong Ying Chan Professor of Energy Engineering and Environment, alongside his former PhD student Dr. Shangqian ZHU (currently at Southeast University, Nanjing) and collaborating researchers from Fudan University, has been honored with the Shanghai Natural Science Award (Second Class) 2025.

The prestigious accolade was bestowed by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government in recognition of their joint research project, “Mechanistic Studies of Electrocatalytic Conversion of Carbon-based Small Molecules.”
