Welcome Prof. Yong LAI to CBE

Prof. Yong LAI has joined the CBE department as an Assistant Professor.

 He received his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Hong Kong in 2016, where he studied polymicrobial interactions mediated by secondary metabolites. He completed postdoc training in Prof. Timothy Lu’s group at MIT before joining HKUST.
