Miss Ivy WONG, a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering under the supervision of Prof. Terence T W WONG, receives Croucher Research Studentships and Butterfield-Croucher Studentship 2021/2022

The Croucher Foundation has awarded a prestigious Research Studentship 2021/2022 to Miss Ivy Hei Man WONG, 2nd year PhD Student in Bioengineering. Concurrently, Ivy is also conferred the award of ButterfieldCroucher Studentship as the scholarship selection committee selected her as the best candidate in the category of Medical and Biological Sciences for 2021/2022.

 

Miss Ivy WONG received her bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering program at HKUST in 2019, with First Class Honours and Dean’s List 2015–2019. She is currently a second year Ph.D. student in Bioengineering under the supervision of Prof. Terence Wong. Her research focuses on developing novel imaging techniques for intraoperative clinical applications. She is also one of the inventors of the patented technology from Prof. Wong’s lab, termed computational high-throughput autofluorescence microscopy by pattern illumination (CHAMP).
